একলা থাকার নিমিত্ত
দীপান্বিতা রায় সরকার
তেমন কোনও সরণ নেই,
ঠায় দাঁড়িয়ে গাছের মতো।
একলা স্মৃতির আকাশ থেকে
জল আয়নায় মুখোমুখি।
শোকের মতো মেঘ উড়ে যায়
যেখানে রোদের জবরদস্তি।
একলা থাকার নিমিত্ত এই
শোকের মতো রোদও রাখি।
আমার যে সব ছন্নছাড়া,
কুরুশকাটায় ভুলের বুনন।
সেটুকুও রাখা খুব যত্নের,
বুকের উপর যে বর্ষাবন।
সে বনেও ফুল ঢেকে যায়,
প্রমাণ রাখে সাতটি ঋতুই।
শুধু আমায় এড়িয়ে গিয়ে
বিচ্ছেদ গান গাইবে একই।
ওই যে যাদের যোগ মিছিলে
দেবে না সাড়া যাকেই ডাকি।
একলা থাকার নিমিত্ত এই
রোদের সঙ্গে শোকেও থাকি।
To be alone

There is no such going but to stand as the tree.
From the sky of lonely memory
I am face to face in the water-mirror.
The clouds fly away like mourning,
Where there is the sun's compulsion.
The reason of staying alone
That I also keep the sun like the mourning.
Everything of mine is miserable,
And wrong weaving with the crochet.
I am careful to keep that too
As the rainforest is on the chest.
Even in that forest the flowers are covered
Being the witness in seven seasons.
The same will sing the song of separation
Just avoiding me.
Those who are involved in the procession
Will not respond whomever I call.
The reason of staying alone
That I live with the mourning besides the sun.
